"Vijesti" were informed that Opstina Budva had reached an accord with Russia's
MIRAX to continue ASAP works in an aqua park in order to complete them before the opening of the season of 2010.
Budva
- The construction of the aqua park in the Toplis Mountain
continued after a long pause. The first stage of the work is to be finished and
a part of the aqua park is to be opened before June.
With
the continuation of the works, the three-year agony of the construction of the Adriatic's largest aqua part ended.
"Vijesti"
learned that Opstina Budva had reached an accord with the Russian MIRAX company
to continue the construction of the aqua park as soon as possible in order to
finish it before the opening of the season of 2010.
Shortly
after the Spanish company "Numerico Trade Limited" signed an agreement with
Opstina two years ago to lease six hectares of land on the Toplis Mountain,
they refused from the project as a result of numerous problems related to the
construction. Then it was said that MIRAX was ready to take over the entire
project but it did not happen and the project stood idle for a year.
On
the New Year eve, Opstina Budva took over the project and allotted 5,000,000
euro from the 2009 budget to build the aqua park.
"We
are prepared to independently finish the works, after which a world-renowned
company will manage the aqua park. Aqua park equipment has been lying in Porte
Bar for months," said Raiko Kuljaca.
It
is stipulated in the project that the aqua park occupying over 50,000 sq. m
will host 4,000 guests.
Over
20 water shoots are planned to be erected to include children's shoots to open
and closed roller coast ways.
It
is planned also to build 12 basins which will occupy over 4,000 square meters.
The
project provides that aqua park canteens will be located at the area of 1,300 square meters,
and luxurious restaurants, shops and other facilities are also planned. The parking
lot will occupy 10,000
square meters according to the plan. |
