MOSCOW, Nov 18 (Prime-Tass) -- Mirax Balkan Management, a part of Russian real estate
developer Mirax Group, will invest between 50 million and 60 million euros of
its own funds in 2009 to build tourist facilities in Montenegro, the company's
press service said Tuesday.
The company plans to build aqua parks, sports facilities, and
bungalow-style hotels and will also improve beach areas, the press office said.
Additionally, Vyacheslav Leibman, Mirax Group's managing partner,
dismissed rumors that Mirax Group was abandoning its 200 million euro Astra Montenegro project. He said that the company has enough financial reserves to complete the
first part of Astra Montenegro on schedule without having to take out additional funds.
The
company has already invested more than 100 million euros in the project, the
press office said. The Astra Montenegro project involves the construction of a
hotel, apartment buildings, fitness and entertainment centers, a casino, shops,
a zoo, and landing facilities. |
